Stock Market Update: Sensex opened and started trading at 60,512 with a loss of 394 points

Stock Market Update: On the Indian stock market, on Thursday morning, the US Federal Reserve’s increase in interest rates showed a big impact and investors came on a sell-off as soon as trading started. The Sensex is showing a decline for the second consecutive trading session today, while the Nifty opened below 18 thousand. Due to the fall in the US market, today there is pressure on the stocks of the IT sector.

The Sensex opened and started trading at 60,512 with a loss of 394 points in the morning, while the Nifty opened at 17,968 with a loss of 115 points and started trading. Investors are being very cautious before the Reserve Bank meeting today, which is why today the market is showing selling from the beginning. However, after opening on a big decline, investors sold a little cautiously, due to which the Sensex fell 233 points to 60,672 with some improvement at 9.25 am. Nifty also started trading at the level of 18,015 with a loss of 68 points with improvement.

Investors sold shares of companies like Hindalco Industries, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Coal India from the beginning today. Due to continuous profit-booking, the shares of these companies fell in the category of top losers. However, companies like Bajaj Auto, Titan Company, ITC, Eicher Motors and Britannia Industries saw heavy buying today, making their stocks in the list of top gainers.

If we look at today’s business sector-wise, then only two sectors are showing growth, all other sectors are trading on the red mark today. The biggest fall is in the Nifty Realty and IT sector, where a loss of 1 percent is visible. Today Nifty Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 are also seeing a decline of 0.1 percent. Shares of M&M Financial Services climbed 8 percent in early trade today. Apart from this, the shares of JK Paper are also showing an increase of 1 percent today.
