Stock Market Update: There is heavy selling in the domestic stock market amid weak global cues. In today's business, there is a sharp decline in Sensex and Nifty. If the Sensex has more than 1250 points weakness, then the Nifty has also come down to 17200. There is all round selling in the market. Weakness is visible in every segment of largecap, midcap and smallcap.

Bank, Financial, IT and IT indices have weakened on Nifty. There is selling in other sectors as well. At present, a weakness of 1255 points is being seen in the Sensex and it is trading at the level of 57579. While there is a weakness of 378 points in Nifty and it is trading at the level of 17181. Heavyweight stocks are also selling. 28 stocks of Sensex 30 are seen in red mark. Today's top losers include TECHM, INFY, HCL Tech, TCS, Wipro, Tata Steel, Kotak Bank, HDFCBANK.

In this fall of the market, the market cap of companies listed on BSE has decreased by about 5.5 lakh crores. On Friday, the market cap of companies listed on BSE closed at Rs 2,76,96,111.60 crore. Whereas today it was 2,71,48,331.10 crores at 9:20 am.

The 45th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries is going to be held today. This meeting will start today on August 29 at 02:00 pm, in which presentations are going to be made by Chairman Mukesh Ambani and other members of the company's board and subsidiaries. Analyst believes that this year once again the company can focus on consumer retail business.
