Engine and transmission

The 2.0L Kryotec diesel engine that powers the Tata Harrier has 140 PS and 350 Nm of torque and complies with BS6. There are two gearbox options available for it: a 6-speed torque converter or a 6-speed manual transmission. To clean up its pollutants, the Harrier BS6 uses AdBlue technology. The boot floor allows access to the 15-litre AdBlue tank.

A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a seven-inch digital driver display, a six-way power driver seat with memory and a welcome function, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and rain-sensing wipers are among its highlights.

Up to six airbags are included, as well as hill-hold and hill-descent control, ABS with EBD, an electronic stabilisation programme (standard across all models), a 360-degree camera, and more. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) now include additional capabilities like blind spot recognition, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning.
