Powertrain details
Although the specifics are still unknown, the Punch EV will have a choice between two different battery pack sizes. With a stated range of more than 500 km, it will be built on Tata's new Acti.ev platform. It will also offer several charging options, including DC rapid charging.
Design details
The Punch EV's design language is noticeably different from that of its ICE (internal combustion engine) counterpart, the Tata Punch. The Punch EV's design elements, including as the aerodynamic alloy wheels, vertical LED projector headlights, and bonnet-spanning LED DRLs, are derived from the Nexon EV. With the same tail lights, skid plate, and hefty bumper as the petrol-powered Punch, the rear profile is comparable.
Features onboard
Punch EV features include two 10.25-inch displays (digital driver's display and touchscreen infotainment), touch-based automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and a 360-degree camera. These details are based on teasers and dealership photos. Tata's Arcade.ev, which lets users see TV series and films on the infotainment screen, will also be available.
Expected price in India
Prices are estimated to begin at approximately Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to serving as a substitute for the internal Tata Tigor / Tiago EV siblings, the all-electric Punch will compete with vehicles such as the Citroen eC3.
