Three men who helped in the killing of Atiq Ahmad detained by UP police

In a recent update about the public murder of Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf Ahmad, the police has captured three men who had helped the main accused in his killings. The three people involved in the murder are Lovelesh Tiwari, Arun Maurya and Sunny Singh who were arrested on the spot. Besides them, the three men that the police had been able to detain today were found in the Banda region of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, the arrested men worked in a local media agency and were helping the killers by training them on how to pretend to be journalist. This had allowed the three killers to trail the movement of Atiq and his brother throughout the day.

Ropes of Reporting to killers

The three detained men had also helped Arun Maurya, Lovelesh Tiwari and Sunny Singh in securing ropes of reporting and also in buying a camera for the same. Through this, Lovelesh was able to spend the entire day around the arrested gangster turned politician.

This also allowed the former to shoot the Ahmad brothers from a very close range when the two were being taken for a medical examination in Prayagraj. With the i-cards indicating that the three men from media agencies, the attackers were able to get close and shoot twenty times at the Ahmad brothers.

Live Murder of Atiq Ahmad

According to sources, the three killers had planned to murder Atiq Ahmad and Ashraf Ahmad one day previous to the actual incident. However, due to some reasons the plan could not work out. Atiq and Ashraf Ahmad were shot in front of dozens of camera who were recording him live on different media channels.

A day previous to the the murder of Atiq Ahmad and Ashraf Ahmad, the former's son, Asad Ahmad was shot down by the Uttar Pradesh police in an encounter. Asad, who was killed on the day father was facing the second day of hearing, was the main perpetrator in the killing of Umesh Pal.
