The wave is in its early stages bu still people are loving electric cars as they are much more cost-effective, require less maintenance, and are easier to drive. TOP 3 most affordable electric cars

Tata Tiago EV

19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs are available for the Tiago EV. The larger battery produces 75PS/114Nm, while the smaller battery produces 61PS/110Nm. The electric hatchback's range with these battery packs ranges from 250 to 315 kilometres.

The Tiago EV is priced between Rs. 8.49 lakh and Rs. 11.79 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom pan-India).

Tata Tigor EV

The Ziptron EV technology found in the Nexon EV is also included in the Tigor EV. The electric engine, which produces 75PS and 170Nm, is coupled to a 26kWh battery pack. The new ARAI range claim for the electric vehicle is 315 kilometres.

Prices for it range from Rs. 12.49 lakh to Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).

Tata Nexon EV

It boasts a 129PS and 245Nm electric motor combined with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack from Tata. It has a 312 km range, according to ARAI, with this configuration.

Prices for the Nexon EV Prime now range from Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
