With a fast charger, the 30.2 kWh battery can be charged from zero to eighty per cent in roughly an hour and takes nine hours to charge at home. The vehicle has a single-pane sunroof, automated climate control, automatic headlights, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with linked car technologies, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Some of the extra features include smartwatch connectivity, cruise control, and multi-level regenerative braking. Two front airbags, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX are all standard equipment on the Nexon EV. To further boost its 5-star safety rating, the automobile also includes child seat anchors.

The Nexon EV Max from TATA is a rival with a starting price of Rs. 18.34 Lakhs. This car's enormous 40.5 kWh battery gives it a typical range of 437 kilometres on a single charge. With the 7.2kW charger, this car can be charged from 0 to 100% in about 6.5 hours. The battery can drive this car to a top speed of 140 km/h. When it comes to features, the Tata Nexon EV Max has Eco, City, and Sport driving modes, several playback modes, a wireless charger, an auto-dimming IRVM, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a central lighted gear. The TATA Tiago EV is one of the most inexpensive electric vehicles you can purchase in India. The "go-to" affordable EV, this automobile has a starting price of just Rs. 9.8 lakhs. It has two battery pack options: a smaller 19.2 kWh pack that can travel up to 250 km on a single charge and a bigger 24 kWh pack that can travel 315 km on a single charge.
The 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs take approximately 6.9 and 8.7 hours to fully charge. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, this vehicle offers quality features at a competitive price. Despite being a cost-effective vehicle, it has high-end equipment including a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and a rear camera to ensure driver safety.

The 5-seater EV Mahindra XUV 400 has not yet been released. The price of this EV begins at Rs. 15.99 lakhs. This car's large 39.4kWh battery pack is said to enable it to go 456 kilometres on a single charge. This vehicle requires 13 hours to fully charge on a residential charger, but only 50 minutes on a commercial one, which can charge it from 0 to 80 per cent in that time. Mahindra has not yet revealed the details of this car's interior amenities, although it has promised more than 60 connected car technologies. This vehicle will have six airbags and other safety features, making it one of the safest electric vehicles under Rs 20 lakh in price.
