Tork Kratos R: The electric motorcycle manufacturer Tork Motors, headquartered in Pune, has expanded its dealership reach across India. The company just recently started delivering its electric motorcycle in Pune, and now they have introduced the Kratos R in Surat, which is located in the state of Gujarat. The customer’s sales and after-sales needs can be met at this dealership, which can be found in the Nana Varacha. It has a total floor space of 1,500 square feet and spreads out over that area.

Travel 120km on a single charge

The Kratos R electronic motorcycle was introduced by Tork the previous year. It has a price tag of Rs 1,68,374 (ex-showroom Surat, after subsidy in Gujarat), and it is packed with cutting-edge features and high-end apparatus to support that price tag. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 105 kilometres per hour and is propelled by an engine with a power output of 9 kW and 38 Nm. This engine is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack that has a capacity of 4 kWh and an IP67 certification. According to the manufacturer, this battery pack has a real-world range of 120 kilometres per charge. Tork asserts that the Kratos R can have its battery charged from empty to 80 per cent full in just one hour when using a rapid charger.

This model has the same battery pack as the premium model

Notably, the Kratos is also offered in a standard model that is more reasonably priced. This model has the same battery pack as the premium model, but its propulsion engine has a slightly lower power output. It has an engine with 7.5 kilowatts of power and can generate up to 28 newton-meters of torque.

Although the claimed battery range is identical to that of the R trim, the maximum speed has been reduced to 100 kilometres per hour, which is still quite remarkable for an electric motorcycle. The standard variant, on the other hand, is not compatible with rapid charging.
