TVS iQube price hiked in Delhi, Here are the new prices and all you should know before you buy

TVS iQube: In reaction to the revision of the Fame II subsidy, TVS Motor Company recently disclosed its plans to increase the price of the iQube electric scooter. The manufacturer has provided the most recent prices, just for New Delhi. Depending on the particular scooter version, the new pricing will range from 17,000 to 22,000 starting on June 1, 2023.

Prior to May 20, 2023, customers who placed reservations for the iQube electric scooter will be charged 1,16,184 for the ordinary iQube variation and 1,28,849 for the iQube S variant. For the basic iQube and the iQube S, respectively, customers who booked their reservations after May 21st must pay 1,23,184 and 1,38,289, respectively. These rates include Delhi’s on-road fees.

Battery and Motor details

A hub-mounted, 3kW motor that produces 4.4kW of peak power powers the TVS iQube. The top speed of the regular and S models, according to TVS, is 78 kmph, while the top speed of the ST is allegedly 82 kmph. All variations are said to go from zero to 40 km per hour in 4.2 seconds. Two riding modes—Eco and Power—are available on the iQube. On the base and S trims, a 3.04kWh lithium-ion battery pack powers the motor; however, the ST is anticipated to come equipped with a larger 4.56kWh battery pack. Ranges of 100 km (Eco mode) and 75 km (Power mode) are promised for the regular and S models. However, the ST model is advertised to have a real-world range of 110 km (Power) and 145 km (Eco). Standard and S variants have 650W chargers that take 4.5 hours to fully charge, but the ST model has two charger options: 950W or 1.5kW, which take slightly more than 4 hours or 2.5 hours to fully charge, respectively.

Features

A TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity via the SmartXonnect app is a feature of the iQube line of e-scooters. The lighting system is all LED. Other features include navigation, geo-fencing, remaining fuel, charge level, ride statistics, and an overspeed alarm. A five-inch display is included in the base model while a seven-inch display is included in the S model. A five-way joystick for menu navigation is also included, and it is located on the left switchgear. In addition to a joystick, the ST model’s top specification has a seven-inch touchscreen. TVS also includes USB-charging compatibility and a boot light as standard features, which improve usability. The iQube and iQube S have a 17-litre boot, but the top-of-the-line ST model has a bigger 32-litre boot.
