UP BOARD Result 2022: 163 Jailed students pass 10th & 12th board exam

PRAYGRAJ: 163 students lodged in jail passed their board exams on Saturday, said officials. UP Board exams are conducted by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP). The board announced its result on June 18, 2022. A total of 95 inmates cleared the Class 10th board exam, while 68 cleared the Class 12th exam. Results for both the classes were declared yesterday at 2 and 4 pm respectively.

According to officials, 103 inmates appeared for class 10th exams from 12 district jails, and 95 of them cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 92.23. Whereas 96 inmates from 16 district jails appeared in the 12th exam of which 68 of them cleared the exam with a passing percentage of 70.83, officials said. According to a report from PTI, the majority of them who appeared in the board exams were from Ghaziabad district jail. Wherein 33 inmates of the jail appeared in class 12th exam of which 31 cleared it.

Prince Patel from Kanpur has topped the UP Board Class 10 exam 2022 and Divyanshi has bagged Rank 1 in Class 12 exam. 85.33% is the overall pass percentage in UP Board 12th result 2022 and 88.18% of students have passed in UP Board 10th result 2022 this year.

A total of 24,10,971 students had registered for the UP Board Class 12 exam 2022 out of which 22,37,578 appeared. Of the total students who appeared for the 12th board exam, 9,80,543 boys and 9,28,706 girls have passed the exam.

Whereas, a total of 25,20,734 students appeared in the Class 10 exam this year, out of which 22,22,457 have passed. Of the total students who passed the 10th board exam, 11,79,488 are boys and 10,53,257 are girl students.
