UP Cabinet 2.0: After registering a historic victory, Yogi Adityanath was given a grand welcome in Delhi

UP Cabinet 2.0: After registering a historic victory in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, Yogi Adityanath reached Delhi from Lucknow on Sunday. Yogi Adityanath was given a grand welcome in Delhi. Today evening he will meet all the big leaders including PM Modi. After meeting PM Modi at 5 pm, there will be a meeting with the party’s national president JP Nadda at 6 pm and Amit Shah at 7 pm. The date of swearing-in ceremony will also be discussed during these meetings. BJP has maintained its power in four out of 5 states, but UP is the only state where the situation is completely clear regarding the post of CM.

Meanwhile, there is news that four deputy CMs are being considered in UP. These are Baby Rani Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and Swatantradev Singh, Keshav Prasad Maurya. Despite the defeat in the election, Keshav Prasad Maurya is being given this responsibility. The party feels that it can benefit in the 2024 assembly elections. On the other hand, Dinesh Sharma will be given a big responsibility in the organization. Swatantradev Singh is currently the state party president and he has also contributed significantly in the victory. Now the party will reward him.

Along with Yogi Adityanath, State President Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister Sunil Bansal, State in-charge Radha Mohan Singh will also stay in Delhi on Sunday. It is being speculated that the BJP leadership has prepared a basic list of possible deputy chief ministers and ministers on the basis of merit, caste and regional equations as the BJP gives space to every caste in its cabinet. The final decision on the list will be of the central leadership. For the post of Deputy Chief Minister, the names of Swatantra Dev Singh, Baby Rani Maurya, Brijesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya are being discussed. Swatantra Dev Singh was the Transport Minister, apart from this he was the State President of BJP.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday resigned from his post to clear the way for the formation of a new government in the state. Sawant’s party-BJP has emerged as the single largest party in the recently concluded assembly elections. Sawant visited the Raj Bhavan in the afternoon, met the Governor of Goa, PS Sreedharan Pillai, and submitted his resignation letter to him. Later speaking to reporters, the Governor said that he has accepted Sawant’s resignation and appointed him as caretaker chief minister till alternative arrangements are made in the state.
