2024 Bajaj Chetak: After releasing the updated “Urbane” model of their electric scooter at the end of 2023, Bajaj is currently preparing for the 2024 Chetak Premium to hit the market. The 2024 update for the industry-leading Chetak will bring a new digital dashboard, a slightly larger battery, and an improved range in addition to a minor aesthetic makeover. The scooter has been spotted before the official launch. In this article, we will tell you all we know about this upcoming electric scooter.

The instrumentation of the Chetak has seen the most modification. The circular screen has been replaced with a colour TFT device. This device will provide ride modes, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity.

New switches on the handlebar can be used to access the screen’s features, which include music play/pause, turn-by-turn navigation, and notification alerts. Buyers will also be able to access ride data and analytics, as well as implement geo-fencing, through a smartphone app. The basic Chetak Premium will not come with music controls, navigation, or some of the app-based functions.

The scooter’s appearance and style are basically the same, but all of the lighting components now have darkened surrounds, and the wheel rim has a decal that reads “Chetak.”

Powertrain details

The scooter will be able to go a maximum of 127 kilometres thanks to the 3.2 kW battery pack that Chetak will receive. But these are not genuine real-world numbers—rather, these are IDC data. Generally, charging times will go up with larger battery packs.

Expected price

Bajaj is expected to release the new Chetak in several hues and at a price of approximately Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will face off against the well-known Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro.
