Viral Video: At Ford's Essex track and research facility, Dunton Technical Centre, Paul Swift, 44, of Northallerton, set a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the narrowest gap driven through by a pickup truck on two wheels when he manoeuvred a Ford Raptor between two poles with an average clearance of just 44 cm on either side.

In order to calculate the record, one must deduct the truck's height (6 feet 2.2 inches) from the width of the opening (9 feet 0.8 inches).

“We weren’t sure whether the vehicle was capable of doing it… we had people there ready with laptops to make any modifications,” Mr Swift said.

“But we just drove an absolutely standard Raptor on two wheels—I was absolutely delighted with that, straight out of the box we could do something cool with it.

“Most people tend to bend over backwards to achieve a record title, but I tilt my pickup sideways.”

It took Mr Swift multiple tries due to windy conditions, but he now holds four GWR titles: the fastest time to perform five car stunts, the tightest parallel park by electric car and the most doughnuts, or spins, around a motorcycle performing a wheelie in a minute.

His most recent record is just one of several accomplishments made for this year's 19th GWR Day, which was on November 16.
