Vishwakarma Puja 2021: Today is Vishwakarma Puja. Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the first architect of the Puranic period. Lord Vishwakarma, who is considered to be the creator of the universe, is also mentioned in the Rigveda along with 12 Adityas and Lokpals. On this day Lord Vishwakarma is born. That is why it is also called Vishwakarma Jayanti.

Vishwakarma Puja Shubh Muhurat (Vishwakarma Puja Jayanti 2021 shubh muhurt)

Vishwakarma Puja Shubh Muhurta will be from 6:07 am today to 3:36 am on Saturday, 18th September. Worship is prohibited during Rahukal. On September 17, Rahukaal will remain from 10:30 am to 12 noon.

Vishwakarma Puja Method

Lord Vishwakarma should be worshiped with complete rituals. The husband and wife should perform the Yagya of Lord Vishwakarma by sitting together. After this one should meditate the name of Lord Vishnu. Taking flowers, Akshat in hand, recites the mantra and sprinkle Akshat all around. Leave the flower in the water vessel. After that light the lamp. Make a resolution by taking flowers and betel nuts with water. Make Ashtadal lotus on pure land. Pour water on it. After this, put Panch Pallav, Sapta Mrintika, betel nut, dakshina in the urn and offer Akshat with a cloth to the urn. Devote the vessel full of rice and install the idol of Baba Vishwakarma. Worship the iron equipment and start performing the havan.
