With the same 689cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled CP2 engine that powers the rest of the lineup, the Tenere 700 Extreme produces 73.4hp and 68Nm. Carrying forward unaltered is the rather simple steel tube structure with two cradles, inside which the engine rests.
Features onboard
An instrument cluster fit for a rally has been fitted to the Ténéré 700 Extreme by Yamaha. Three distinct themes, including a Rally Raid-style display with navigation, are included on the five-inch, full-colour TFT display, which is positioned vertically. The switch cluster on the left side also has a trip switch that is ideally located.
