AP ECET Counselling 2025 Begins, Check Dates, Registration Process, Documents Required

The AP ECET 2025 counselling process started on July 4. Candidates can register, verify documents, and enter web options by July 10. Seat allotments will be announced on July 13. Fees range from ₹600 to ₹1,200. Classes begin July 14.

The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2025 counselling process formally began today, July 4, 2025. The counselling is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for the purpose of admission of the lateral entry into second-year engineering and pharmacy courses for diploma holders and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates.

The candidates qualified in the AP ECET 2025 now have the option to register for counselling online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and follow the procedure for Phase 1 admission.

Counselling Schedule:

  • Registration & Fee Payment: July 4 to July 8, 2025

  • Certificate Verification: July 4 to July 9, 2025

  • Web Options Entry: July 7 to July 10, 2025

  • Web Options Editing: July 11, 2025

  • Seat Allotment Result: July 13, 2025

  • Self-reporting & College Reporting: July 14 to July 17, 2025

  • Commencement of Classes: July 14, 2025

Fee Details:

  • General/OBC Candidates: ₹1,200

  • SC/ST Candidates: ₹600

Fees are to be paid online during registration through the official portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have at least obtained an overall score of 25% (50 marks from 200) in the AP ECET 2025 to qualify for counselling. Candidates who are from SC/ST categories have no minimum qualifying marks

Documents to verify:

  • AP ECET 2025 Hall Ticket & Rank Card

  • Diploma/Degree Marks Memo

  • Transfer Certificate

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Income Certificate (for fee reimbursement)

  • Residence/Local Status Certificate

  • Aadhaar Card

Verification will be held at a designated help center in the state.

Seat Allotment:

Candidates will be allotted seats according to the rank and with respect to the category, local area, and choices made during the web options.

Candidates who have been allotted will need to do self-reporting online, and they will need to report to the allotted college during the specified time period.

Spot Admission Round:

If there are still any unallocated seats after Phase 1, a spot round of counselling may take place in August for those candidates.

Those candidates would be required to register afresh and have their documents verified again for that round.

Important Note:

Students are reminded to regularly check their official website for updates and should also follow the regularly scheduled activities and time frames to complete this phase of the process. If they happen to miss anything, they will not be able to be part of the admission process.
