Basant Panchami 2022: This time Basant Panchami will be celebrated on Saturday, February 5. Worshiping Goddess Saraswati on this day gives blessings of learning and knowledge. On the day of Saraswati Puja, one should definitely chant Saraswati Stotra. Also, keep a book, musical instrument or any artistic thing necessary at the place of worship. How to do Saraswati Puja on Basant Panchami

1- Wake up early on the day of Basant Panchami, after cleaning your house thoroughly, prepare for worship.

2- Before taking bath on this day, apply neem and turmeric paste on your body.

3- Wear yellow or white clothes after bathing.

4- Establish the idol of Maa Saraswati at the place of worship.

4- Keep the idol of Lord Ganesha next to the idol or statue of Mata Saraswati.

5- Keep a book, musical instrument or any artistic thing necessary at the place of worship on this day.

After this, worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati by decorating them with kumkum, turmeric, rice, and flowers in a clean plate or plate.

Basant Panchami shubh muhurt -

The Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Magh month will start from 03:47 am on Saturday, 5th February, which will continue till 03:46 am the next day, Sunday, 6th February. Basant Panchami is worshiped after sunrise and before noon. The auspicious time of worship will be from 07:07 in the morning to 12:35 in the morning that is for 5 hours 28 minutes.

या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना। या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकरप्रभृतिभिर्देवैः सदा वन्दिता सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेषजाड्यापहा॥ शुक्लां ब्रह्मविचार सार परमामाद्यां जगद्व्यापिनीं वीणा-पुस्तक-धारिणीमभयदां जाड्यान्धकारापहाम्‌। हस्ते स्फटिकमालिकां विदधतीं पद्मासने संस्थिताम्‌ वन्दे तां परमेश्वरीं भगवतीं बुद्धिप्रदां शारदाम्‌॥२॥
