Bhopal News: Amidst the impact of the Western Disturbance, Bhopal, along with the entire state, witnesses a reprieve from the biting cold. Responding to this, the district administration, led by the collector's office, has introduced adjustments in school timings to accommodate the prevailing weather conditions.
Adjusted Timings for School Start
In a recent directive issued on Wednesday, all government and private schools in the district, catering to students from the first to the fifth class, are instructed to commence classes after 9:30 AM. This alteration comes into effect immediately, aiming to ensure the well-being of students during the chilly mornings.

Continuation of Pre-scheduled Examinations
Despite the shift in school timings, the order emphasizes that pre-scheduled examinations for classes sixth to twelfth will adhere to the regular timetable. This decision maintains the academic schedule while accommodating the necessary adjustments due to weather considerations.
Adaptive Measures in Response to Weather Conditions
Earlier this month, recognizing the adverse weather conditions, a similar adjustment was made, with school timings set to begin at 10 AM for all classes up to the twelfth. Originally intended until January 20, the extension of this directive until January 31 underscores the prolonged impact of the cold wave. Additionally, schools operating in two shifts were also instructed to align with the adjusted timing of 10 AM.
