The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has commenced the registration process for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025, aiming to fill 1,250 vacancies across various state government departments. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in, from June 2 to June 30, 2025. 

Vacancy Details

The recruitment drive encompasses a diverse range of positions, including:

100 posts of Senior Deputy Collector

79 posts of Financial Administrative Officer

502 posts of Block Cooperative Officer

459 posts of Block Minority Welfare Officer

Additional roles such as Labour Superintendent, Sub-Registrar/Joint Sub-Registrar, Sugarcane Officer, Block Panchayat Raj Officer, Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Welfare Officer, and Revenue Officer.

These positions fall under pay scale levels 7 to 9, offering competitive remuneration and benefits. 

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

General category: 21 to 37 years

OBC and EBC (Male and Female): Up to 40 years

SC/ST (Male and Female): Up to 42 years

Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

Log in using the credentials and fill out the application form.

Upload necessary documents and pay the application fee.

Application Fee

General candidates: ₹600

SC/ST candidates of Bihar: ₹150

Female candidates (permanent residents of Bihar): ₹150

Candidates with disabilities (40% or more): ₹150

Biometric fee: ₹200 (applicable to all candidates)

Fees are to be paid separately for each examination, such as the 71st CCE and FAO.

Examination Pattern

Preliminary Examination:

Objective-type multiple-choice questions

Duration: 2 hours

Total Marks: 150

Negative marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each incorrect answer

Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the main examination.
