As per officials, only specific subject papers have been rescheduled, while the rest of the Class 10 and Class 12 date sheet remains unchanged. Students are advised to download the revised date sheet from the official CBSE website and plan their preparation accordingly. Schools have also been directed to communicate the updated schedule clearly to students and parents.
The board has clarified that there are no changes in the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, or evaluation process for the CBSE Board Exams 2026. Internal assessments and practical examinations will be conducted as per the earlier guidelines issued by the board.
Education experts believe that this rescheduling will help students better manage revision time and reduce last-minute pressure. Teachers have also welcomed the move, stating that it reflects CBSE’s student-centric approach and responsiveness to academic concerns.
CBSE has further warned students and parents against believing unofficial notifications circulating on social media. Any updates related to the Class 10th and 12th board exams will only be released through official CBSE platforms.
The CBSE Board Exams 2026 are expected to begin in February and conclude in March, with result declarations likely in May or early June, based on previous years’ trends. Students are encouraged to stay focused on preparation and regularly check official announcements for the latest updates.
