The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 board examination results for the academic session 2024–25. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 93.66%, showing a slight improvement from last year's 93.60%.

A total of 23,85,079 students had registered for the exam, out of which 23,71,939 appeared and 22,21,636 successfully cleared the examination.

Girls Outperform Boys Yet Again

Girls have once again outshined boys, recording a pass percentage of 95%, compared to 92.63% among boys. The consistent lead of girl students in recent years highlights their growing academic performance across subjects and regions.

Trivandrum and Vijayawada Regions on Top

Region-wise, Trivandrum and Vijayawada emerged as top performers, with both regions recording a stunning 99.79% pass rate. Delhi region followed with a strong performance of 95.14%, while some northern regions recorded relatively lower pass percentages.

Digital Access to Mark Sheets

Students can access their digital mark sheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates via the DigiLocker app and website. CBSE has encouraged all students to make use of digital services for faster access and to reduce dependency on physical documents.

The CBSE Class 10 result can be checked through:

To check results, students must enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth.

Over 1.92% Students Score Above 95%

According to CBSE data, 1.92% of students scored above 95%, while 8.43% of students scored above 90%, reflecting a high concentration of top performers.

Meanwhile, 5.96% of students have been placed in the compartment category and will be eligible to appear for compartment exams, expected to be held in July 2025. The board will soon release the re-evaluation and rechecking schedule on its website.

To help students cope with exam-related stress and anxiety, CBSE has activated its post-result counselling services. Toll-free helpline numbers and expert counselling support are being made available to students and parents.
