CBSE Results 2023 live: Board to announce class 10th, 12th soon; here's how to apply for the reevaluation process

CBSE Results 2023 live: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce the result for Class 10th and Class 12th on its official website. It is expected that the board will announce the Class 10th and 12th results in the last week of May. However, the board is yet to announce the confirmed date. Once released, the result will be out on the board’s official website - cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.gov.in. Students can also check their results on the DigiLocker app and UMANG app. 

Fake notice related to CBSE Results 2023 

Recently, a fake notice went viral across several social media platforms on Wednesday stating that the results will be declared on May 11. The notice also listed websites from where students can download their results. However, the board was quick to acknowledge that the notice is fake and warned students against falling for these scams.

How to apply for the Reevaluation process?

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking of their answer sheets. The reevaluation window will be announced by the board once the result is announced. 

In the reevaluation process, students first apply for verification of marks. Under this, the board checks the answer sheets again for totaling errors, missing marks, and if students were not awarded marks for some questions. The board then sends students a photocopy of their answer sheets. 

Once the verification result is out, students can then decide if they want a reevaluation of marks or not.
