Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chancellor of Shobhit University, Meerut and Gangoh, paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, the 14th President of India, at his residence in New Delhi. The meeting reflected Shri Kovind Ji’s continued mentorship and his warm, guiding presence in the journey of Shobhit University.
During the interaction, Chancellor Vijendra presented a copy of Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse as a gesture of respect. Shri Kovind Ji shared his thoughts on education, values, and the role of universities in shaping responsible and confident young citizens.
It is worth mentioning that Shri Kovind Ji visited Shobhit University Gangoh last year along with his family. He stayed on the campus overnight and spent meaningful time with students, faculty members, and other stakeholders. His guidance on empowering rural communities through education left a lasting impact on the entire university community.
