This time, admission in UG courses in 170 universities across the country will be done through CUET UG (CUET UG 2023) only. Currently the application process for CUET UG 2023 is going on. Candidates can apply till 12 March 2023 through the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
This time also admission in UG courses in Kashmir University will be done through CUET only. On the other hand, according to media reports, it is expected that the last date of application for CUET UG 2023 may be extended. However, so far no information has been given by the UGC in this regard.
Admission in these universities will be done through CUET UG
This time admission in UG courses of 46 Central Universities, 28 State Universities, 23 Deemed Universities and 73 Private Universities will be done through CUET only. In this regard, UGC Chairman M. Jagdish Kumar has also tweeted. Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Economics, Karnataka, Cotton University, Guwahati and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi have also adopted CUET this time for UG admission. The University Grants Commission (UGC) had announced in March last year that undergraduate admissions in all central universities would be conducted through a common entrance test and not on the basis of class 12 marks.
