During a public outreach programme (Jan Samvad), a troubling case came to light involving Queen Mary School, Model Town. Several parents alleged that the school was illegally collecting fees and had expelled students without valid grounds.

Taking prompt cognizance of the matter, Delhi BJP President Rekha Gupta instructed the concerned authorities to launch an immediate investigation. She emphasized that strict and necessary action must be taken without delay.

Gupta reiterated the Delhi government's unwavering commitment to transparency in the education system, equal access to opportunities, and the protection of every child's rights. She stressed that the government follows a zero-tolerance policy toward injustice, exploitation, or any form of irregularity in educational institutions.

“Our stand is clear,” she asserted. “Every child deserves justice, dignity, and access to quality education. Any violation of these principles will not be tolerated under any circumstances.”

Serious Accusations Surface at Jan Samvad Programme

During a public interaction programme (Jan Samvad), concerned parents raised a disturbing issue related to Queen Mary School in Model Town. They alleged that the school administration was charging unjustified fees and had expelled students arbitrarily, causing distress to several families.

Rekha Gupta Takes Swift Action

Reacting immediately, Delhi BJP President Rekha Gupta directed education department officials to begin an urgent inquiry. She emphasized that no school will be allowed to misuse its authority or violate the rights of students. Instructions have been given to conduct a thorough investigation and initiate strict and appropriate action against those found guilty.

Commitment to Educational Justice and Transparency

Gupta reiterated that the Delhi government stands firmly for transparency in the education sector. She said, “The government is committed to ensuring that no child is deprived of education due to arbitrary decisions or exploitation by private institutions.”

She added that a zero-tolerance policy is in place against any form of injustice, exploitation, or irregularity. “There will be no leniency when it comes to protecting the rights of students,” she asserted.
