DME hosts Multidimensional Leadership Conclave 2025

Delhi Metropolitan Education’s Multidimensional Leadership Conclave 2025 explored how AI and real-world experiences can shape the future of learning responsibly.

On 19th September, 2025, Outreach Cell of Delhi Metropolitan Education hosted the
Multidimensional Leadership Conclave (MDLC) with a panel discussion focusing on the theme
of Future of Learning: AI Meets Real World Experiences. The esteemed panel consisted of Ms.
Richa Sharma Agnihotri, Principal, Sanskriti School, Ms. Nandini Shekhar, Principal, DPS HRIT,
Ms. Dimple Puri, Principal, Vishwa Bharati Public School, Ghaziabad, Ms. Sushma Punia,
Principal, BLS, Greater Noida and Mr. Saurabh Sehgal, Director, Sapphire International, Noida
and Crossing Republik. The panel discussion was moderated by Prof (Dr) Shalini Gautam,
Dean-Research and Outreach, DME and Ms Anjali Bose, Assistant Professor, DME.

The dignitaries shared their insights on the future of AI and its integration in educational spaces.
Ms. Nandini Shekhar said, “Human touch is critical in educational spaces and it is something
that AI cannot replace.” Ms Richa spoke about the inbuilt biases in AI and how is it important to
have one’s own perspective while using AI. Ms. Dimple Puri explained the significance of cyber
security and data privacy for students while using AI. Ms Sushma Punia emphasized on
changing mindset of parents and teachers in usage of AI. Mr. Saurabh Sehgal explained how AI
can help in accurate assessment for students in collaboration with teachers, explaining that, “AI
suggests, teacher decides.”

The conclusion drawn from the panel discussion was that as we move ahead, the challenge is
not just to adopt AI but to adopt it responsibly with focus on ethics and inclusivity. The future of
learning is not about choosing teachers and technology, but about creating harmony between
the wisdom and curiosity of students, guided and enhanced by AI.
