Kalraj Mishra said that a society with more educated women develops at a fast pace, so, we have a need to promote girl child education and private universities should take special steps towards it. The Governor was addressing the 11th convocation of Jaipur National University.

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said that “if opportunities are given to them, they can prove themselves in every field. The promotion of girls’ education is the need of the hour and private universities should take special steps towards it by which society develops faster”.

The Governor also said that the National Education Policy 2021 has come after 34 years and its objective is to make education helpful in holistic development. Emphasising the promotion of quality and innovative research in universities, research activities should develop the critical and analytical ability of students. The research should be such that it is useful from both academic and social points of view, he added. He also suggested that private universities should also take steps in this direction so that the students here can get inspiration to implement high ideals of the constitution of life.
Girl Child Education Posters Launched in Trichy
The school education department in Trichy, Tamil Nadu also promoted posters supporting the rights of girl children and the importance of educating them as part of an extended celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child, falling on October 11 every year. These posters will be displayed in government offices and schools to create awareness.
