JEE Main 2023: Registration begins, says the “Fake” notice doing rounds on social media

JEE Main 2023: The application procedure has begun, and the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2023 January session exam will start on January 18. According to NTA DG Vineet Joshi, a bogus notice about the JEE Main 2023 dates is making the rounds on social media. To stay updated on JEE Main and other entrance tests administered by NTA, the NTA spokesperson urged applicants to visit the official website.
According to sources, the JEE Main 2023 application process will start in November. However, an NTA representative would not confirm a specific date. The application period will end on December 31, and hopefuls still have time to submit their applications (upto 11:30 PM).

Schedule of JEE Main 2023

The first session of the JEE Main 2023 test will take place on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. According to the bogus circular, the exam for session two would be taken on April 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 and 9, 2023.

Pattern of the JEE Main 2023

Paper 1 is of 90 marks for the JEE Main 2023, with 30 each for Math, Physics, and Chemistry. The BArch (Paper 2A) is worth 82 marks, while the BPlanning (Paper 2B) is of 105 marks. Each subject will have two portions for Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2. Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) will make up Section A, and questions with numerical responses will make up Section B. Candidates must attempt any 05 (five) of the 10 questions in Section B.

Both Section A and Section B will have negative marking for wrong answers. Use the mouse and the virtual numeric keypad on the screen to enter the appropriate integer value for each question in Section B’s response field. The JEE Main 2023 false circular stated, “For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.
The computer-based examination (CBT) for the JEE Main 2023 exam will be administered in two shifts, the first from 9 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 6 pm. The BPlanning paper, however, will be held from 3 to 6 PM in a single shift.
