JEE Main exam result is out now and a total of 24 candidates have scored 100 percentile score in the JEE-Main exam including 5 from Delhi and 8 from Telangana. Out of these 24 toppers, Chukka Tanuja from Telangana is the only female with a 100 percentile score.
The results for the JEE Mains exam which was conducted earlier this month has been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
More than 10 lakh students appeared in the examination including both January and September sessions. There was a 25% drop out in the September session of the examination due to pandemic, which is highest in the history of this examination.
There is a bit spike in the cutoff in comparison with the last year but only for the common list category, while the cutoff for OBC, EBC, SC, ST, and PwD category has declined.
This national level engineering test is conducted seeking admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The qualified students of JEE Main will appear for the JEE Advance examination which will be conducted by NTA on September 27.
