How Many Students Appeared at the JKBOSE Class 12th Result 2025?

About 93, 000 students appeared at the JKBOSE Class 12th Examination 2025, which was less than the total number of students who appeared in the Class 12th examination 2024. The different streams of this exam included science, commerce, arts and home science.

How Was the Examination Conducted?

The JKBOSE Class 12th examination 2025 was held in two distinct zones—soft zone areas, and hard zone areas.  This was done to facilitate the region’s diverse geographical conditions. For soft zone areas—the Jammu and Kashmir divisions—the exam was conducted from February 15th to March 17th 2025. For hard zone areas, such as remote regions, the exam was held from February 20th to March 20th 2025. 

What is the Minimum Passing Percentage for Subjects?

For general English, the minimum passing percentage is 33%, and for four elective subjects, the passing percentage is 36% in both practicals and theory, as well as in the aggregate.

What is the Grading System for the JKBOSE 12th Result 2025?

Students will be allotted grades according to their performance in the exam. 

• A grade indicates marks above 75%
• B grade indicates marks from 60% to below 74%
• C grade indicates marks from 52% to below 59%
• D grade indicates marks from 45% to 51%
• E grade indicates marks from 33% to below 44%
• F grade indicates marks from 15% to below 32%
• G grade indicates marks below 15%

Students who score less than 33% will be required to appear for the JKBOSE supplementary exams, as notified by the JKBOSE
