KCET 2022 toppers: Girls outperform boys in KCET

KCET 2022 toppers: KEA declared the result for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 on July 30, 2022, and has released the toppers list for the same.

In KCET 2022 exams girls have outperformed boys. Though, boys are the toppers in Engineering, agriculture science, bachelor of Naturopathy, and Yogic science (BNYS), veterinary science, and Pharmacy streams.

KCET 2022 Toppers

In the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2022 Apurva Tandon, Siddhartha Singh, Amtakuri Venkata Madhava Sriram topped the engineering exam. Whereas, for the BSc (Agriculture) category Arun Ravishankar, Sumit Patil, and Sudeep Y M topped the exam.

For the BSc Veterinary category, Hrishikesh Nagbhushan Gangule, Manish S A and Shuba Kaushik were the top three rank holders.

Girls’ dominance in KCET

A total of 210829 students gave the KCET 2022 exam. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET for admissions in numerous UG courses in the Government, private, University, and Private unbiased institutions in Karnataka.

In engineering out of 1,71,656 candidates, 88,575 are girls alone. In the category of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture out of 1,39,968 eligible students, 78,070 were girls. In B.pharma and D.pharma category also girls dominated the eligibility list.

KEA has declared the KCET 2022 result in online mode at kea.kar.nic.in 2022. Know the steps to download Karnataka CET result 2022:

  • Visit the KCET Result official website- kea.kar.nic.in 2022/ www.karresults.nic.in 2022
  • Click on the KCET results 2022 link.
  • Enter KCET 2022 login credentials and click on submit button
  • The Karnataka UGCET results will appear on the screen.
  • Download the KCET result and take a printout for further use.
