Lucknow News: In order to provide more options to the students to pick up a career field of their choice the University has modified the UG Ordinance which will give students the opportunity to explore more career options. To implement the plan, the University held a meet on 12th September to approve different Vocational and co-curricular courses in the University. These courses varies from Gardening, landscaping, Bonsai Cultivation, Indian Knowledge System, Interview preparation and others. Students will have a choice to chooses and pick these courses in the first 4 semesters.
Students will be given 4-6 Internship Programs
As the students move towards next semesters they will be given more choice to choose courses as a part of their syllabus. Students of 5th semester will be given an option of selecting main subject after studying 2 subjects as major in the 4 semesters. After this students will be given an option to pursue internship for 4-6 weeks on a project. The choice of internship is given to make them learn about the practical challenges in the field.
‘Students will be given Practical Training also’
The idea will ensure that learning skills are not limited to the classrooms, but students will be encourged to learn outside classrooms also.
