HSC SSC Maharashtra Board Exams

With the sudden surge of COVID cases in Maharashtra, the HSC/SSC Board exams are now postponed to May-June. The move by the state government came after the continious request from the parents and the situation of COVID in the entire nation.

Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that HSC exams are likely to be held in May-end if the COVID situation gets better, while SSC exams may be conducted in June. She said that this will also ensure the further education prospects, like various entrance exams.

The Minister futher added all these things will not affect student's career and fresh time-table for both exams will be released soon.

"Considering the current Covid-19 situation in the state which are not conducive to conduct the exams, we have postponed the Class X SSC and Class XII HSC exams. It appears to be the most pragmatic solution since the health of the students is our priority," Gaikwad said in a statement.

Meanwhile India reported more than 1.68 thousand new COVID cases, which a record high since the pandemic broke in last year.
