The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally announced the results of NEET UG 2025 in a much-anticipated development that millions of future doctors in the nation have been eagerly waiting to hear. As more than 21 lakh students took the medical entrance exam this year, the declaration is a decisive moment in the lives of students.

Applicants are now able to verify their results using the official site at neet.nta.nic.in, where they will be required to input their application number, date of birth, and security pin to access and download their scorecards. The outcome consists of subject-based marks, aggregate marks, percentile, and All India Rank (AIR).

Toppers and Cut-Off Marks

As per the official results published, the NEET UG 2025 topper has scored full marks of 720/720, and this follows the pattern of the previous years that had shown a very high level of competition among the aspirants. The cut-off marks of the general category candidates are said to be 138 marks, and that of OBC/SC/ST candidates is 108 marks.

The final answer key has also been provided online by NTA to enable students to understand the analysis of their score calculations.

Counselling and What Comes Next?

The results have been announced now, and the next process is counselling, which will be done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in the case of All India Quota (AIQ) seats and individually by state governments in the case of state quota admissions. Registration will be done online, and the candidates will be required to select colleges of their choice, and counselling will be conducted in several rounds.

NEET UG scorecard, admit card, identity proof, and academic certificates are important documents that should be ready to be checked. The official counselling program will be out soon on the MCC site.
