NEET, JEE MAIN, CUET: According to Professor M Jagadish Kumar, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Testing Agency (NTA) will prepare the annual schedule of all major entrance examinations including NEET, JEE Main, CUET in advance. So that no one’s date is troubled. Obviously, this will make it easier for the students to prepare. Kumar told the media that NTA has constituted two expert committees to conduct the entrance examinations smoothly.
What will these two committees do?
A committee will prepare the annual schedule for university entrance exam CUET, medical entrance exam, NEET and engineering entrance exam JEE Main and other admissions.
Another committee will look into the infrastructure of the exam centre. It will be ensured that there is no technical problem in the conduct of the examination.
Who is in the committee
Experts from IITs and Central Universities, those who have already organized the examinations will be included.
The decision to prepare an annual schedule is not just to ensure that the dates of the entrance exams do not clash. Students should also know the exam schedule. It should be known when the examinations will be held. The aim is also that CUET-UG should be organized twice from next year. But the decision will be taken on the basis of availability of dates, after preparing the schedule.
