Panchayat Junior Clerk recruitment exam in Gujarat has been postponed after the paper was leaked

The Panchayat Junior Clerk recruitment exam in Gujarat has been postponed after the paper was leaked. The examination board issued a statement saying that the examination of Junior Clerk (Administrative/Accounts) was to be held on January 29 from 11 am to 12 noon in various districts.

According to the information received from the police on Sunday morning, they detained a suspect and seized a copy and question paper from him on questioning. The Board expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the candidates and informed them not to visit the examination centres. At the same time, the government has decided to cancel the exam.

ATS arrested 15 people


Gujarat ATS SP Sunil Joshi said that Gujarat ATS was keeping a constant watch on the people connected with the previous paper leak incidents. 15 accused have been arrested from Vadodara with question papers. The recovered question paper matches with the original question paper.

The accused Pradeep Naik, a resident of Odisha, who was the one who leaked the paper, was in touch with two accused Ketan and Bhaskar. Both these are related to the previous paper leak incidents.

ATS SP Sunil Joshi said that the Gujarat ATS has arrested a person from Hyderabad, Jeet Naik, who was in charge of printing the question paper and the process is on to bring him here.

A gang from Bihar was also involved in this under the leadership of Paswan. All the accused have been arrested.

Sandeep Kumar, in-charge of the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board, told in the case on the paper leak that the police have arrested an accused this morning.

During interrogation, he revealed that the paper was leaked. So far 15 accused have been arrested. This seems to be the work of an organized gang.
