Punjab News : Government Schools to Implement Online Attendance System via E-Punjab School Login App

Punjab News: In a significant move towards digitalization, all government schools are now required to mark their attendance online through the "E-Punjab School Login App." This application is readily available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple iOS Store.

A circular regarding this new directive has been issued by the Deputy Director (Coordination) to District Education Officers (Secondary and Elementary), as well as to all school principals and heads. The directive mandates that student attendance must be marked daily using the E-Punjab School Login App.

The circular highlights the inefficiencies of the current system, where school teachers and class in-charges mark students' attendance in registers before manually uploading it onto the portal. This process was noted to be time-consuming and cumbersome.
