Great news for those seeking a career in the Indian Railways security force! The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have unveiled two Centralised Employment Notifications (CENs) – RPF 01/2024 and RPF 02/2024, inviting applications for Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constable positions in the Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. A total of 4,660 vacancies are available across these positions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit:
  • For Constable vacancies: 18-28 years as of July 1, 2024, with a one-time relaxation of 3 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • For SI vacancies: 20-28 years as of the cut-off date, with the same relaxation for COVID-19.
• Education Qualification:
  • Constable: Minimum Class 10 pass from a recognized board.
  • SI: Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Application Process and Fee

• Application fee: ₹500 for all candidates except SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates.
• Fee for mentioned categories: ₹250.
• A partial fee refund after appearing in the computer-based test (CBT).
• Submission of forms on respective RRB websites.

Important Notes

• Candidates awaiting results of qualifying examinations are ineligible to apply.
• Reserve category candidates enjoy additional relaxation in the upper age limit.
