The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026 for admission to Classes 6 and 9. The results were made available on the official website exams.nta.nic.in on February 27, 2026.

Sainik School Admissions: AISSEE 2026 Results Released
The AISSEE 2026 examination was held on January 18, 2026, in paper-pen mode at 464 exam centres across 190 cities in India for admission to Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools.
Candidates who appeared in the test can download their scorecards online by using their application number and password on the official portal. The scorecard includes total marks, subject-wise performance, and qualifying status.
Next Steps: Merit List and Counselling
Along with result declaration, NTA has also released the merit lists for both Class 6 and Class 9 candidates. Qualified students will be admitted through e-counselling, where school allocation will be done based on rank, preferences, category and available seats.
The admission process includes a document verification stage where eligibility, self-declaration and other required documents will be checked as per prescribed norms. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to participate in further stages of counselling.
