The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the Prelims Admit Card for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) 2025 exam on July 25, 2025. Candidates appearing for the preliminary examination can now download their admit cards from the official website — sbi.co.in. The download window will remain open until August 5, 2025.

The SBI PO 2025 preliminary examination is scheduled to be held across three dates — August 2, 4, and 5, with thousands of aspirants expected to appear from across the country.

How to Download SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025:

Candidates must follow these steps to access their admit card:

Visit the careers section at sbi.co.in

Navigate to the ‘Join SBI’ tab and select ‘Current Openings’

Click on the link titled ‘SBI Recruitment of Probationary Officers’

Select the ‘Admit Card’ link

Enter your registration number/roll number and date of birth/password

The hall ticket will appear on the screen

Download and take a printout of the admit card

Important Instructions for Candidates:

Hard copies will not be sent via post. Only the digital admit card is valid.

Candidates must carry:

A printed copy of the SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025

A valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)

Two passport-size photographs

Entry to the exam centre will be denied without the required documents.

The SBI PO recruitment exam remains one of the most competitive banking exams in the country. The prelims serve as the first stage of the multi-phase selection process, which includes mains and an interview round.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for any further updates regarding the exam day guidelines, COVID-related instructions (if applicable), or changes in venue. 

With the release of the admit cards, SBI has also advised candidates to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the hall ticket, including reporting time, dress code, and items prohibited inside the exam hall. Any discrepancy in the admit card details, such as name, photograph, or exam centre, should be immediately reported to the bank authorities for correction. Candidates are urged to arrive at the examination venue well in advance to avoid last-minute rush and ensure smooth entry through the verification process.
