Schools to reopen in Uttarakhand

Unlocking: Uttarakhand government has allowed Schools to open from 2 August.

In this announcement on Saturday, the government has also given SOP for private, government and boarding schools.

The government has given strict instructions to the schools that it will be very important to follow the Covid guidelines in the schools.

Education Secretary Radhika Jha has issued orders in this regard. In Uttarakhand, classes from 9th to 12th will start on August 2. Whereas classes from VI to VIII will be conducted from August 16. With this, schools will be able to charge only tuition fees. During this, online education of children will also continue.

It will be mandatory to use social distance, mask, sanitizer in every school. A nodal officer will be made in every school for its compliance.

State cabinet had decided to open schools for all classes from August 2 with 100% capacity, but now it has been changed.

Education Minister said, classes will be held from class 9 to 12

From August 2, schools will open in the state from class 9 to class 12, in which the Covid guide line will be followed. In schools where the number of students is more, classes will be conducted in two shifts. Education Minister Arvind Pandey said this while releasing the results of Uttarakhand School Education Council.

Education Minister Pandey said that cases of Covid infection are still being found in the country. Due to Covid, students are studying online. In such a situation, it has been decided to open the school after meeting with the parents.
