Shobhit University is delighted to invite you to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology (NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accredited Deemed-to-be University) and the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO), New Delhi.
The MOU signing event between the two esteemed institutions marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at fostering collaboration in sustainable agriculture, rural development, and capacity building across our regions. Shobhit University is the self-finance University in India that signed such MOU after IIT Delhi and IIT Kharagpur.

Shobhit University has cordially invited you to join the MOU signing ceremony between the Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology and AARDO. The event will take place on Wednesday (May 10) from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM at Shobhit University Tower (7- Institutional Area, Mayur Vihar Phase 2, Delhi 110091).
The ceremony will be graced by Dr Manoj Naradeo Singh, Secretary General, African-Asian Rural Development Organisation (AARDO), New Delhi, and Mr. Rami Qtaishat, Assistant Secretary General, AARDO. The ceremony shall be presided over by Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Hon’ble Chancellor, Shobhit University.
Objectives of MOU
The MOU will facilitate a range of collaborative activities, including:
- Human resource development, capacity enhancement, education, and training programs
- Organization of international, regional, and on-the-spot training programs and workshops
- Joint exploration and implementation of technology-based pilot projects
- Exchange programs and internships for students, faculty, staff, and researchers
About AARDO
African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) is an Autonomous international organization, comprising 33 Nations, 17 from Africa, 15 from Asia as full Members and one Associate Member from Asia, working towards promoting cooperation among African and Asian countries in the fields of agriculture and rural development. Founded in 1962, AARDO has been instrumental in developing and implementing numerous projects and programs to improve the livelihoods of rural communities in its member countries. India is one of the founding members of the AARDO.
