Sonu Sood Migrant Messiah is now Student Messiah. Because Sood has launched scholarships for underprivileged students in his late mother Saroj Sood’s name. Sonu said that during the past few months, he has seen the struggle of underprivileged people who faced problems to pay for their children’s education, and was moved by their plight.
“While some did not have phones to attend online classes, others did not have money to pay the fees,” he said.
The students who will get admission in courses from streams like Agriculture, Airlines & Tourism, Design and Innovation, Engineering and Technology, Healthcare Science, Hotel Management Computer Applications, Law, Management Studies, Para Medical Sciences, many more.
Sonu will also provide hostel facilities to those who can not afford the service. He provided an email that is scholarships@sonusoodme for students in need to reach out to him.
Sonu Sood has been working hard in the COVID-19 pandemic. While the whole world and other celebrities was enjoying their quarantine period, the ‘Dabbang’ actor helped lakhs of people including workers, students and even the people who are residing outside the country.
He has been given the title of ‘Migrant Messiah’ by his fans as he took up the responsibility of transporting migrant labourers to their homes via buses, trains and flights.
