The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of the plea challenging the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations to cancel the physical exams for Class 12 students till tomorrow (June 22, 2021).

According to reports, CBSE Class 12 evaluation criteria was released a week ago by the board. Supreme Court of India had accepted the 30:30:40 criteria earlier on June 17. However, the court had asked the board to incorporate few things such as grievances redressal mechanism, date of optional exam etc. SC will take a final call tomorrow, on June 21, 2021 on the proposed aspects and also on CBSE writ petition, State Board Exams and Compartmental exams.

The board has informed that the results will be released on July 31. Marksheets will be prepared on the basis of the formula given by the board. Students will be able to check their result with the help of their roll number.

This will be the weightage of 10th-11th
The board has said that the weightage of 10th-11th marks in the result will be 30-30 percent while the weightage of 12th marks will be 40 percent. In class 10th also, students have board exams but the subjects are different. In such a situation, out of the 5 subjects of 10th, only the numbers of the best 3 subjects will be added.

This is how you will get numbers out of 100
After this, the average marks of all the 5 subjects will be added in the 11th class term-exam, unit-exam and final-exam. The weightage of these numbers will be 30-30 percent. Finally, 40 percent weightage will be given to the marks of 12th practical exam and pre board exam. By adding these three numbers, you will get a total of 100 numbers.
