West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the HS (Class 12) final exam result of 2026. Students who sat for the exam can now log in to the official page and view their results — a moment that students have been waiting for and anxious to see after months of preparation and awaiting the outcomes.

How to Check Your Marksheet Online

There are the following steps you’ll need to take to view your result:

Go to result.wb.gov.in or visit the WBCHSE’s official page.

  • You will need to find and select a link for “HS Result 2026” or similar.
  • You will be required to enter your roll number or registration ID (or date of birth if required).
  • You will then need to press submit. Your marks for each subject, total marks, division or qualifying status will be displayed.
  • You can save or download the PDF/print it out for your records.

Students should check their admit cards to get a hold of the credentials (roll number and registration ID) as well as their other personal information.

What to do After Checking Your Result

Once you view your result:

  • Be sure to note down your marks per subject and your overall subject category (Science, Commerce, Arts).
  • If you pass, be sure to print a copy, and wait for your actual mark sheet and a certificate from your school.
  • If you did not pass or are unhappy with your marks, find out if the Board offers re-valuation or supplementary exams.
  • You can now begin to plan your next step – be it college admissions, vocational courses or other options depending on your stream and results.

Important Notes & Reminders

The results you see online is only provisional, and the institution will provide an original mark sheet later.

Sometimes, your access may be slowed immediately after release, due to heavy traffic. Stay calm and refresh if needed.

Make sure that you have typed in your information correctly, as wrong roll numbers or registration ID will lead to errors or results that do not show for you.

Try to ensure that your credentials are kept confidential and do not post sensitive information on public networks that aren’t secure.
