Exactly twenty years after Lakshya, Farhan Akhtar is once again donning the uniform. This time, he steps in front of the camera for 120 Bahadur, a war drama inspired by the bravery of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. The film tells the story of how he led Indian soldiers during the 1962 Battle of Rezang La.

120 Bahadur trailer dropped on November 6 and quickly grabbed attention online. The film promises to bring alive one of the most heroic chapters from the Sino-Indian War. Adding to the buzz, Kannada star Yash launched the film’s trailer.

What’s in 120 Bahadur Trailer?

The trailer opens with Amitabh Bachchan’s powerful voiceover about the betrayal that led to the 1962 war. Soon after, we see Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, standing tall and ready to lead his men into battle.

Raashii Khanna plays Major Singh’s wife, Shagun Kanwari Singh. She proudly says she is the wife of a “deshbhakt.” The trailer also shows the struggles of the soldiers under Singh’s command. They lack proper equipment but show unshakable courage. One soldier’s line about the bravery of Ahirs stands out, showing how strong their spirit was.

The visuals are stunning, capturing the cold, rugged terrain of Rezang La (a vital point leading to Leh). The battle scenes feel raw and intense, showing how 120 Indian soldiers fought against 3,000 Chinese troops. They refused to back down, even when defeat seemed certain.

Farhan Akhtar completely transforms into Major Shaitan Singh, a brave leader who refused to leave his post. His portrayal brings both power and emotion to the role. The trailer also features the famous line “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge” that defined Singh’s spirit.

About The Film

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, 120 Bahadur pays tribute to real-life courage and sacrifice. The story follows the Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, made up entirely of Ahirs. On November 18, 1962, they fought fearlessly at a height of 17,000 feet despite limited resources.

Major Shaitan Singh led his men from the front, even after being badly injured. He continued to command and refused to give up. His bravery earned him the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honour.

120 Bahadur brings his story to life (a tale of courage, sacrifice and unbreakable spirit.) The film releases in cinemas on November 21, 2025.
