120 Bahadur Vs Mastiii 4 Box Office Collection Day 8: Farhan Akhtar And Riteish Deshmukh Starrers Almost DEAD In Theatres, Tere Ishk Mein Delivers Shocking Blow

The clash between 120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4 fizzled out, with both films struggling to attract audiences beyond the opening weekend. By Day 8, 120 Bahadur slightly edged out Mastiii 4, but both remain box office disappointments.

The recent clash between 120 Bahadur and Mastiii  4 promised big action and laughs. Some fans were for a blockbuster face-off. But by Day 8, both films were almost DEAD and struggling to fill theatres, indicating that they won’t survive till the end of the 2nd week.

120 Bahadur Vs Mastiii 4 Box Office Collection Day 8

Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur opened with a modest Rs 2.25 crore on 1st Friday. It picked up slightly over the weekend, earning Rs 3.85 crore on Saturday and Rs 4 crore on Sunday, giving it a weekend total of roughly Rs 10.10 crore. However, momentum faded quickly. Monday brought only Rs 1.40 crore, followed by weekday numbers of Rs 1.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 1.1 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 0.9 crore on Thursday.

By Day 8 (Friday of the second week), the film barely earned Rs 0.4 crore. Overall, 120 Bahadur ended its first week with about Rs 15.4 crore (net India).

Mastiii  4 had a slightly better opening day at Rs 2.75 crore. Saturday held steady at Rs 2.75 crore, and Sunday added Rs 3 crore, bringing its first‑weekend total to Rs 8.50 crore. But like its competitor, the film lost steam during the weekdays. Monday brought Rs 1.6 crore, Tuesday the same, Wednesday Rs 1.15 crore, and Thursday Rs 1 crore. By Day 8, Mastiii 4 earned just Rs 0.22 crore, finishing its first week with around Rs 14.07 crore. While it has managed to surpass the lifetime earnings of Great Grand Masti, there’s no point, as the film is destined to be a disaster.

Put simply, both films struggled to hold audience interest beyond the weekend after slow start at the box office.

Why The Clash Fell Flat

Despite the hype, neither 120 Bahadur (a patriotic war drama) nor Mastiii  4 (an adult comedy) managed to sustain crowds after the opening weekend. Weak weekday numbers hurt 120 Bahadur’s momentum, while Mastiii 4, despite being part of a known franchise, failed to maintain single‑screen or multiplex footfall. Competition from other releases may have also split the audience’s attention.

At the end of eight days, 120 Bahadur narrowly leads Mastiii  4 in overall earnings, but both remain well below expectations. With first‑week totals of roughly Rs 15.4 crore and Rs 14.07 crore respectively, neither is likely to turn into a hit without an unexpected surge over the weekend.

The clash that looked promising ended up more like a fizzle. Theatres were quiet, and the audience turnout remained low. Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur and the ensemble of Mastiii  4 failed to keep the excitement alive. Both films are box office disappointments rather than winners
