5 Things Shehnaaz Gill does to stay Fit and Fabulous

Shehnaaz Gill: People Love ‘Punjab ki Katrina Kaif’ for her carefree attitude, the quality of always speaking her mind and most importantly, because of her ‘No-Filter’ nature. But it was sometime back when shehnaaz gill grabbed eyeballs because of weight loss and the transformation, that nobody could have imagined of. It was during the lockdown when the Punjabi singer and actor was able to shed about 12 Kgs in just 6 months. And she paid more emphasis to her diet and did not opt for any kind of exercise.

1. Moong Dal in the Key!

In one of her interviews with Shilpa Shetty, Shehnaaz had talked about how moong dal acted as a magic ingredient in the weight loss process. As moong dal not just makes you feel full, but also improves the metabolism. And as it keeps you full for a longer duration, then that automatically reduces the cravings.

2. Avoided Chocolates, ghee, non-vegetarian & processed foods

In order to get back in shape and shed those extra kilos, shehnaaz had to cut off certain things in her diet. Which included junk foods, processed food and non-veg in particular. These food items were really liked by Bigg Boss 13 fame, but not to deny, in order to stay fit and achieve that desired body, sine sacrifices had to be made.

3. Shehnaaz went for The Portion control formula

In order to get back in shape, Shehnaaz adapted to the portion control formula. In which she ate everything in less quantity. For example, if she wished to eat two Rotis she would only go for one, instead of two. She tried to control her hunger, and that eventually worked.

4. 2-3 liters of water a Day!

Hydration is definitely the Key! Shehnaaz has always mentioned that water has really helped her in this weight loss process. And according to shehnaaz, in case you don’t really like the consumption of so much of it, then you can add some cucumbers or strawberries to it before a better taste.

5. Goes for high protein diet

In one of her old interviews, Shehnaaz gill talked on how she believes in going for high protein diet for breakfast. And consumes special Dosas, fenugreek paratha, sprouts md unsalted fox-nuts for breakfast.
