Thalapathy Vijay Varisu: Thalapathy Vijay will next be seen in Varisu. One of the most-anticipated films of all time, Vairsu is releasing in theatres tomorrow, that is, January 11, 2023. Apart from Thalapathy Viajy, Khushbu will also be seen in a pivotal role in the film. Ahead of film’s release, the actress has revealed some exciting details related to the movie.
Khushbu talks about shooting with Thalapathy Vijay in Varisu
After much speculations, Khushbu confirmed last year in October that she is indeed a part of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Varisu.
On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Khushbu shared she is happy to be a part of Varisu. Sharing a photo with Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, she wrote, “Extremely happy to be part of this family. ( Was waiting for the official news from the production before me saying anything about it. ) @actorvijay@directorvamshi#DilRaju #Varisu #Varisudu #Vijay66. (sic)”
In a recent interaction, Khushbu spoke about Thalapathy Vijay’s dedication towards Varisu. She revealed that while shooting for the film, Vijay once had 103 degree fever, but this did not stop him from shooting. Watch her interview below:

Varisu advance booking
The year 2022 saw Vijay’s underwhelming performance in Beast. Also starring Pooja Hegde, the film was a critical failure and tanked out at the box office after garnering big numbers initially. As per a Koimoi report, Varisu has sold tickets worth. 7.53 crores gross for day 1 (till Monday). By the time of writing this story, it is expected that the film would have sold 4 lakh tickets, making the first day gross collection around Rs 10-12 cr. While Varisu is riding high on expectations, the pre booking collection of the film is nowhere close to Beast.
Varisu and Thunivu at box office
Thalapathy Vijay will clash with Thala Ajith at the box office as latter’s film Thunivu is also scheduled to release tomorrow. While the fans of both the superstars can’t keep calm, the numbers at the box office are expected to sky mount. In terms of advance booking report, Varisu is ahead Thuvinu. The date collected on Tuesday showed Vijay starrer taking a marginal lead in comparison to Thuvinu. While Varisu is ahead in the worldwide advance booking reports, Thunivu is ahead in Tamil Nadu, a report revealed.
