'A journey of self discovery': Kriti Sanon on clocking 7 years in Bollywood

It's been seven years of Kriti Sanon in Bollywood. The actor made her debut with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff and hasn't look back since then. Being versatile with every roll that she portrays, Kriti has carved a unique niche for herself and proved that she is here to stay. From the girl next door in Bareilly ki Barfi to quirky reporter in Luka Chuppi, all the characters played by Kriti has always been relatable.

Reminiscing her journey in Bollywood, Kriti has called past seven years "a learning experience" and a journey of self discovery. She explains, “I discovered my own process as an actor and it has been an extremely fulfilling journey. I’m blessed and fortunate to have got so many different kinds of opportunities that have somewhere made me grow as an actor.”

“From not knowing my camera angles or how filmmaking actually happen to being actually fascinated by it... I’ve always been a thinker and have the urge and excitement to learn and that has helped me all these years to grow and evolve,” she says.

“In these seven years, I remember figuring out my process almost by hit and trial, and seeing what works for me and what does not. I discovered one more thing about myself that it’s nice when you don’t know it all. I don’t know it all and I don’t want to know it all. I’m still discovering the process,” she adds.

Kriti also posted a video comprising of pictures of the shoot of the film and wrote about how it was the "best phase" of her life. The video starts with the picture of her audition day and also showcases the last day of shoot where she co-actor Tiger Shroff ate a full packet of biscuits.

"7 Years of Heropanti, 7 Years in the industry, 7 years of Loving what i do.. Its been a beautiful journey so far, the best phase of my life..These pictures bring back so many memories.. Missing you guys more today @tigerjackieshroff #SajidSir @sabbir24x7 @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson," she wrote.

Meanwhile, the actress will be seen in the film "Bhediya" which also stars Varun Dhawan. She also has "Ganpath", "Hum Do Hamare Do" and "Adipurush" in her pipeline.
